I just invested in a little school of these guys, I have 3 of them and they are already living together in a couple of pieces of my LR.
I had one for about 13 months who died in a salinity crisis that wiped my whole tank out, inverts and all.
Nice poll, I hope mine breed for me.

I have a Neon Dottyback that is over 5 years old. This is a beautiful fish with great character.

Hey Tom,

Neon dottybacks have their own thread. Not to say you shouldn't be participating in this one but theres a lifespan poll for them too

Sorry

It must have been the good drugs I am on since my hip surgery.

I read Dottyback and jumped to the quick reply.

I will add though that I had a Royal Gramma before I add the Neon Dottyback and over a very short period of time the Dottyback killed the Gramma. They never really fought. The Dottyback just kept the Gramma trapped in the rock work until he starved.
