I have a coral beauty and I have never had a problem feeding him although he is a little skidish. Did you see him eat at the fish store.
What are you trying to feed him. Try brine shrimp if you havent already.
Mine loves that it.

How long have you had the fish? Other fish? I have one that eats everything and did so immediately but I picked one that had been in a LFS holding tank for at least one month. They can be a little cryptic. On a good note, they are grazers and will pick off your live rock. In a good sized system he'll likely get all the nutrition he needs by foraging.

Flake, enriched brine shrimp, mysis, SF frozen carnivore mix, SF frozen omnivore mix and nori. It eats it all plus picks at the rock all day. I'm still having algae problems but my angel is working hard to rid me of it.

Trying soaking the food in garlic extract. Sometimes non feeding fish are attracted to it and it starts them feeding again.,

I should have mentioned that, I soak my food in Selcon and garlic extract.
