I was going to put this on ebay, but I figure I'll offer it here first. Maybe someone here will actually appreciate it.
Unknown Red Macro for sale - It could be Porphyra leucosticta, but thats unconfirmed... Doubtful it's ever been sold to hobbiests, doubtful it's ever been imported. So this is unobtanium macros for you collector types But it sure is pretty! ![]() No clue on requirements, it grows in my seahorse tank - grows like mad during green water outbreaks. I have a small amount available the pieces should roughly cover the palm of my hand. First 50$ takes it. (Not exactly as shown - old picture) will ship buyers expense/risk (I have no idea how / if this stuff will tolerate shipping Just send me a pm! |

is it really hard or soft? I have 2 types 1 is really hard to the touch but it grows in a bunch. The other is soft to the touch and gets long with orange tips looks awesome under actinics

it's really soft & delicate, not much to look at under the normal blue nightlights but is a nice radiant red under uv.
