Default How to test your Ballast.

My PC lighting is not working properly and I was told that I probably need a new ballast. How can I check my ballast to see if it needs replacing.

My light will only light up at the very end of the bulb where it plugs in. Tested the bulb in another fixture and it wortks fine.

check your wiring first, then if you know what make and modle your ballast is you can go online and get instructions for testing. or just call the company that makes the ballast and ask them.
