![]() Hey everyone.
I have what I do believe to be a 100gpd aquasafe RO/DI Unit. I know there should be alot more wastewater than final product, but should this machine be able to produce 100g of purified water everyday? I thought 100gpd meant that 100g would go through the machine everyday but at the rate its making water it can make 100g of pure water(supposedly) everyday. I fill a 6g jug in...........1-1.5hrs.(I think a little under 1.5). Thanks for any help/tips/clarification! Chris

![]() Sounds right. Usually there is around a 4:1 rejection rate. Remember that the 100gpd rating is using water at 70*F and pressure at 60psi. Numbers that are unlikely in reality. Oh and the 100gpd is 100g of RO water not total water.

![]() Ohhh alrighty, thanks! I just wasnt sure if it should produce 100g of pure water or have 100g pass through the system.
My water is about 65F, and its on household pressure(35psi)? Chris
