![]() Has anyone try out the new salt mix at Big Al's? They are having a sale and the 50gal bag is going for around $14.
I bought one bag and it seems like it desloves fine but I don't know the rest. Has anyone try it out? Let me know what you think. Cheers ![]() |

![]() Does it have a brand name or do they brand it themselves? Have you tried testing the newly mixed up water for ca and alk/dhk?

![]() the salt mix is not Big Al brand. I forgot what it was. That's a good idea to test the water, only if I can find the test kits. It must be in a box some where.
After the move I used both the Kent and this new stuff. I left it over night and the Kent still was not 100% dissloved but the new stuff worked well. They both had the same RO water, power head, and heater. |
