What amount of aclimation is required when adding clean up crew members? I want to add a few more hermits and a few different snails to both of my tanks.
Also, do you feel I need to quarintine these new hires?

I measure the salinity of the water in the bag - and that determines how long I do it. I pour out half of the 'shipping' water - and with water that is close in salinity to mine I add tank water with a turkey baster (adding water every five mintues) for about an hour, but I take an hour and 1/2 to 2 hours with water that isn't very close salinity wise.
