Default Digital cameras

What digital cameras are people using?
I am looking for a new camera and I was hoping to get a few opinions from the experts.
I have been looking at HP, Fujifilm, kodak and olympus.
My budget is around $350, and there seems to be alot of choices.
Any ideas?

I just ordered myself a Nikon D70 after much research and dliberation.. It's definitely more high end but I'm at the point where I wanted something that has a lot of flexibility.
For you, I'd definitely stick to an established brand of camera and preferably from a company that has at least passable customer support. I've been using a 3.2MP Kodak Easyshare camera and have been pretty happy with it. It sucks for extreme closeups (obviously) but takes pretty decent shots and the button interface on the back is dead simple to use.

Minolta Dimage Z1. It has Macro and super macro for those close up shots. Black and white, Movie mode with sound, 3.2 meg with 10x zoom and a wack of other features. Made in Japan. Cost around $300.00. You could probably get it for less now. They do have Z2, Z3 etc if you want higher pix or more features. very happy with this purchase so far.
