What do you really want . The AC 500 is a different motor from the other AC motors. All AC motors are the same (except the 500). They just have different impellers. I know I have a 200 laying around.

Oh... I thought the 300 and 500 were interchangable. If the 300 will not fit on the 500 case than I will limit my request to the larger motor.

Can anyone clarify this for me?

Confirmed. The AC Mini-300 (well, up to 200 I'm positive, 300 I'm just confident) have the same motor unit and different impellers, the 500 (now the 110) has its own chubby motor unit.
If you're having no luck, any LFS that carries Hagen product can order it for you. The smaller motors MSRP at 19.99 (off the top of my head), I can't see the larger one running much more than that.
