Default Livestock and supplies for free

Recently I had to be away from my home and my reef tank for a number of weeks. I left care of the tank in the hands of a good friend who has taken care of it in the past and understood some of the basic care principles. However, on this occasion they failed to notice the death of a fish. When I got back home I could tell right away that something was wrong. The tank didn't smell right but the cascade of bad events had already started. Suffice to say that the tank crashed. All the beautiful large Montipora died which furthered the crash and unfortunately I had to be away again. An algae bloom ensued, a few more fish died and a few LPS corals. The tank has stabilized somewhat since, but I need to be away yet again and the tank needs to come down. It still has some algae issues.

I'm looking to give away all the surviving corals, the CUC and one lonely Goby. I need to do this in a single event, so I'd like someone who will come and take it all one day. I'll have it ready to go in whatever bags, containers and buckets I can find.

There are a few nice remaining Dendros (one rare orange one), some Candy Cane (mainly green, but also some blue), a few Ricordea and a few mushrooms (both of which have shrunk to small size). Apart from the one Goby, there is a conch, some cowries and a few hermit crabs. I can text pictures as required.

I'd also give you all my remaining supplies which are just a mix of salt, buffers, magnesium, frozen and dry foods, trace elements, test kits etc (a big box of miscellaneous stuff). All the equipment has already been spoken for.

If anyone is interested please message me. The livestock will be in better shape the earlier it gets into some else's tank to recover and I would like it all gone by the end of September or early October. It's all free to a good home, just be aware that some stuff will come with a certain level of algae.

I am away frequently but will check messages on Canreef as often as I can.

Ken
