![]() Hey,
Any reason i cant run a waste water line into the house drain marked in the photo? Would probably want to run a 1/2" line there in case i need to do quick bucketless water changes and also a 1/4" line for RODI waste water line. Thanks. ![]() Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk

![]() Nope, no issue at all. Just make sure you glue in the proper fitting. You don't want sewer gases venting into your home, or worse yet, liquids.

![]() No problem. Use ABS with ABS glue, rubber with a hose clamp, or PVC with ABS to PVC glue for the first fitting tying into your pipe.

![]() Hey Shao,
Here's a pic of a drain saddle fitting for the RO/DI drain line on my ABS drain that I had my plumber install for me when we had our house built. ![]()

![]() By the looks of where you are tying in, I would say yes, you would need a p trap.

Or maybe i blocked it out of memory, they just scare me. Automatic Irrational response to it. My brain just says it will leak. Lol I suppose i can use that for the RODI drain, but also for the RODI input, of course on a water line though?

![]() It's just an option to consider... certainly the saddle drain valve. You may have to check with your local building code to see if saddle valves are permitted on water supply lines in your area.
