There goin to be suspended over my 18"cube the extra lengh in the bulbs will light my aquaclear refugium. So i figure i can fit a few lights in a 18" wide hanging light thingy. So anywhere in calgary to get ho T5's. and can i use a workhorse ballast for the t5's.

To answer your question, for the longest time I had 105 watts of NO lighting over my tank. I kept zoas, leathers, GSP and Snakeskins, Digitata (but up high, and still didn't do very good) condalactus, Lta and a bta as well as various shrooms.
Hope this helps.
