Venture VS Ushio
I need to replace my 250W SE 10K bulbs ( currentley running ushio) PFO ballast. I also run VHO actinics.
On a number of internet sites the Venture is the same as Ushio? yet there is an obvious price difference. Is there a difference? What is your opinion of the Venture bulbs?

Venture did not have a good reputation a couple years back and I have not heard anything about them sence .. I actualy thought they went out of business or something.

Sun aquatics are good snooper and sunburst are great to i had a 400 w 12k on my 280 got it from Doug here loved the color.

They talk on aquaria canada how venture makes their own 10000K which is said to be in the 13000 range - as well as manufacturing the 13K MH lamps for a reputable brand. Some people really seem to like them.
