![]() Hi there I'm looking to find out the proper size for a return pump that will be providing flow to the following:
150 Gallon tank and dump. 1/4 HP Chiller that needs 600 GPH 2 - Vertex 1.5 Reactors (Carbon, Biopellets) This pump needs to be also needs to be submersible. Thanks in advance! The return pump is located where the 1" goes down on the back right corner of the photo. There will probably be two 45 degree fittings being glued in before that 1" tee. Hope this photo helps! ![]() Last edited by Liquitech; 02-11-2017 at 11:55 PM. |

![]() You're probably needing on the higher end of 1500-2000 GPH @ 5 or 6 foot head.
1000 GPH for the tank 600 for the chiller 100 each for the reactors. |

![]() That's what I was kind of thinking. I have posted a picture so maybe this will help make it easier to calculate head loss.

![]() If you reeeeeeally care about your flow rate (which most dont), get the fancy new flow rate sensors from Neptune.
