Crocea clams at Aquarium West

3.5 to 4 inches healthy blue crocea clams at 99.00 each at Aquarium West for people who's been looking forever to get any decent size clams.

Drove out from Poco to see only 4 clams, all very plain, all of which had their mantles literally melting into white goo in the middle.

One of them looked okay but I wasn't gonna drop 100$ when there was clearly some kind of issue in that tank.

I got one from another reefer that bought one from them and it's doing very well, you are right, it must be something wrong with their water.

for all I know, these were just the 4 unhealthiest clams out of the shipment, and were still left because they looked so poor.

But either way, don't make the drive...
