Seeing as we have a unit for drinking water, I used it for top-ups when I had a nano.
Now I use the Ro for kalkwasser.

I dont have a Nano anymore but when we did ( it was my daughters tank ) we just used the water from the main reef tank ( 300G ) for water changes. The main tank used Calgary tap water with no ill effects.
See the gallery for pics of the main tank ... we moved and downsized it to a 270G
