![]() I have a rock with a bunch of little bubble algae on it I haven't put it in my tank yet.... should I break all of them off first before I put it in (ie: in the sink) or will it be ok??

![]() If you want a plague of the stuff put the rock in. Other wise I would take them all of before putting in the rock. Once they get established they can be a real pain to get ride of.

![]() This is what I did I plucked them off with tweezers and scrubbed the spot were they were with a boiling hot toothbrush and rinsed it all down the drain with saltwater, then a placed the rock in a bright spot in the tank.
Think It'll work?? Is an emerald crab a good invest?? Reef safe??

![]() If you remove all the bubbles, you should be ok. The debate is still out on emeralds, if they are reef safe or not, everyone has there own opinion. I had them in my reef tank and had no problem. I also have a silfin tang that eats my bubble algae, but that was lucky.
