![]() The GBR series David Attenborough did this past winter covered issues with the GBR and there are scientists working on speeding up evolution for adaptability of certain coral types. Who knows if they will be able to make any progress quick enough and at the very least, there will be an impact on diversity of all types of aquatic life.
It is sad to watch this happening and it feels so inevitable given the competing interests, and human nature. Makes me want to take even better care of the small reef I have - who knows, hobbyists might be called upon in future to help repopulate the reef! I'm only half-joking..... |
