I have my kalkwasser drip tube right beside a MaxiJet Ph intake. Will the slow drip of kalk have any negative effects as it is dispersed by the powerhead (increased wear, crustiness)?
Just wondering if I need to pick a different spot for the inflow drip. I'm only dripping a gallon a night for now, at 1 TBSP kalk mix per jug. TIA.

I feed mine right into the chamber where my return pump sits. No problems in the 2 years I've using this setup.

Is there any concern about the powerhead sucking the kalk out at a faster rate rather than it dripping out?

No, the tubing end is beside the PH intake. It mixes with tank water then shoosh, off it goes.
