![]() As a general rule what happens when a encrusting meteor shower cyphastrea grows to the base of an acropora? Will the cyphastrea grow over the acro or will the acro win the battle?

![]() Generally yes. Encrusting types are stronger in most cases.

![]() I am re-scaping. The Meteor shower is already their and covers 1/4 of the large rock. Not sure what acro's will eventually be mounted on the same rock but sooner or later they are gonna meet
