![]() I picked up some mangroves late Feb. and added them into my sump. The first night I ran them under some supper bright LED's but then thought better of that idea. The second night I switched it out for a CFL for 4 hours and increased the light by an hour every other night. The first week they looked like they shrivelled up a bit. But things seem to be looking up. Here's a pic the night I got them:
![]() ![]() and how they look this morning: ![]() ![]() Absolutely nothing going on up top, but they're definitely growing underneath. I've been spraying the tops with R/O water every day or so to keep the salt off them. Any other suggestions? |

leafs can take up to 3 months to grow. |

![]() They do take forever to grow. I've had mine for about 6 months and they have all grown about an inch each. Some open, some don't. I have the same light as you as well. They are fun, though! |
