![]() Yeah bubble algae sucks! You can try removing by hand but be careful not to burst the bubbles. The spores released start new bubbles, so they say. A Mithrax crab is another option.

![]() if you find a solution let me know. I have ones the size of mandarin oranges in my system. I've got emerald crabs and a doliatus rabbitfish and they have yet to make any headway.

![]() Get a flexible tube that's big enough to siphon the Valonia and use a knife/scalpel to loosen them up.make sure you turn the power heads and return pumps off,so you don't end up spreading the spores!

![]() Remove as many as possible by hand. During a water change I would fill 2 - 5 gallon pails... pull the rock out, pull as many as possible off in to the garbage, then pop/etc the rest, and scrub as much residue as possible... Then rinse the rock in both buckets before going back to the tank.
Then get some (red elbow) Emerald Crabs ![]()
