![]() hey.
got home from work yesterday and found one of my two nb on the filter of the 1200 ph. Just as i was thinking i ought to take him off a nb flew out of the p/h ( in twenty pieces) a couple of fish took bites and spat it out, i quickly turned off the power head and rescued the n/b which was stuck halfway through the inlet grill,(cant believe it got sucked into there) pulling it with a pippette. Any way a bit later i notice a small piece of the lettuce moving, sure enough the lettuce that went through the power head was about a 1/4 of the length it use to be and was still alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable, one day later it looks a bit worse for wear but is still alive! i am now in the process of covering the grill with stockings, hopefully stop any more mishaps ![]()

![]() I'm starting to hate having pwr hds(new tank will be drilled)the only way to keep things totally safe is to use a sponge fitted over the in-take.

![]() Hello,
Yeah I'm not a huge fan of "in-display-tank" powerhead either. Titus
