Actually, from what i am reading on the bulletin boards Ushio reworked the bulbs slightly so they burn a little bluer.

Hmm interesting.. I would beleive it.. I am very happy with the new bluer look.. It is the perfect colour IMO.

What do you guys recommend for acclimation period? I was gonna start at 5 hours and add a half hour a day..

Talk about spectrum shift.. 14 month old bulb on the left and brand new bulb on the right. It's amazing how we don't really notice these things over time...
