LFS Seattle

Hi everyone, I'm in Seattle for the night and was wondering if there were any good places to check out and if I was able to bring anything back like corals and fish.

I don't know of any that are in Seattle itself. Best bet is Barrier Reef in Renton; exit 7 off the 405. It's kind of hard to find in the back corner of a strip mall behind a dentists office, but definitely worth the 20 minute drive from downtown.


There is also Red C in Shoreline. I wasn't super impressed when I stopped in there, but it's not far off the I5.


You're pretty limited with what corals you're allowed to bring back. Softies only on plugs, no hard corals and no live rock.


I'm not 100% on the rules regarding fish. I've never found anything I couldn't get up here.
