![]() hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows if using my established tank water to cure live rock would help or be worse to cure liverock? was planning on doing 100% water changes with my established tank water, no point throwing good saltwater down the drain if i can use it

![]() Should be fine. Your dumping the water after its cured anyways. I've done this before.

![]() Using "used" tank water should have no noticeable effect provided the used water is reasonably clean. If it has measurable nitrate or phosphate I personally wouldn't want to use it. Aside from that, it is definitely a perfectly good way to reuse saltwater and save a few bucks.
