ebay has them for ~5 dollars I bought one to see how it works, I've heard good things, just make sure you buy one that comes with calibration fluid.

I bought one a month ago (those yellow pen like thingy) but it already got busted! It even gave me an heart attack once (gave a reading of 6.7 at night!!!) :O

Nop I had to do it. It came with two different calibration pouches.

Hopefully you will have a better experience. Even if you don't, it will just be a $5 experiment :P
