Default Moving Tank Location

So by some miracle, i'm hoping that my stand is going to be done this week.

In that case, I'm getting ready to move my tank. I'm wondering whats the best way to do so? Since its only a 38g, this is what I figured i'd do:

get a 40-45g rubbermaid container, move all the rock, and water and inverts into the container. Put the heater, and one powerhead in there. Move the tank to the new location, add some more sand, and then move the rock back first, aquascape, then move half the water, fish/inverts, then the rest of the water?
