![]() i filled a bucket with RO water, added my salt to right salinity, put air bubbler and heater in and planned for water change that day for my 12g nano. Well that was 2-3 days ago. (got very busy with other stuff

![]() I mix my new salt water right after doing a water change. It then sits there with a power head for 2-3 weeks until my next change. I would say as long as there's a top on it to protect it from any contaminates dropping in, there's no problem

![]() I try to mix the water a few days beforehand as well. A heater and a powerhead keep it "fresh". I think your water will be fine.

![]() I always have a batch brewing sometimes for Weeks just recheck salinity to account for evaporation.
