![]() Either cut the base with a razor blade or chip off the part of the rock it is on with a chisel. If you cut it a new mushroom could grow from the leftover flesh and the big piece should be put in a small rubble container in a low flow area. Some mushrooms can also be carefully peeled off like the foot of a anemone.

![]() If the foot is completely exposed you can probably use your fingernail and convince it to let go.

![]() Like kill it or just move it? If you want to kill it zappers or aiptasia killers can work I thought I got all mine out when one popped up, just a small one mind you, but i injected it with aiptasia killer and havent seen it since. Mileage may vary though.

![]() If I inject it with a little vinegar do you think it would poison the tank?
I tried getting under it to pry it off but it starts to slime, there is about 5 large ones and they have a good hold on the rock.

![]() If you want them gone for good and your live rock is not too hard I find a sharp razor blade can cut the live rock a millimeter or two below the foot with a little elbow grease.
