Don't understand why you'd want to start a thread like this ...
There are threads for systems ( Tank journals, Reef etc ), plus there's the Lounge, and questions can be posted anywhere, Classifieds cover your idea of for sale, and the being bored part was covered years ago by Myka with the Random Thought Thread

Everything you just said is covered by this site, and many others ...

I think that is a great idea I'm up for it maybe have a forum that has your name with info in there.

Example

Skimmer King.

It's like a link that has info, like this
Type of tank to include what makes it click

Pm times to facetime
