Not sure if it helps but I use shale rock its free easy to cut and isn't porous can be found anywhere I hate plugs and disks are to expensive unless your only making a dozen frags

Plus corals grow over flat pieces better when there's no gaps or holes to grow over and around

I'm just stocking up in case my znp's need trimming. I already have heads detatching themselves cause there is no more room to grow out.

Go Reef has some good prices.

I just bought a bunch from them and they are nice looking plugs
