Thats alot of GPH for internal.

I myself have used the Mag18 on my 180gallon display and 100gallon sump without issue. Approx 1800GPH at 0 head.

Also now using an eheim 1262, again works just fine. This pump is less in GPH than the Mag18, but I don't believe the specs, as it seems to run just as well is the old Mag, so I think this pump is under-rated.

Both are very quiet, basically silent, and I cannot hear them.

Thanks for the advice. I've been using a rio hyper flow that says it does 1920gph.

I'd like to stay around the same
