![]() just got a third MP40wes for my 180 gallon.
currently have one on each side was wondering if i should put the third one one the back wall and run the ecosmart mode or if i should just put it on one of the sides to get more back and forth current |

![]() I can't for the life of me remember which setting it was, but one of those programs recommends a third pump on the back glass. I had an MP10 on the back of my 90 and it worked great

im gonna try it in the back and try it in the ecosmart mode.... the back one has its own function |

![]() Just downloaded the ecosmart manual to check. It's the ecosmart tidal swell mode. If you run that, they recommend an optimal arrangement of one pump on either side, plus one on the back glass. I think it's the only mode where they recommend the third pump be placed on the back glass. It worked great for me.
