![]() Hey guys,
If I wanted to get an RO/DI unit would I need one capable of removing chloramines? I looked at Epcor's water report and was having a hard time interpreting the data so I called Epcor directly. The lady over the phone asked on of the lab guys this question and he said there are trace amounts of chloramines. What should I do? Does anyone here have a chloramine specific RO/DI unit? should I be concerned and if so would it hurt to buy one anyways? Thanks |

![]() I just use a 4 stage RO/DI unit and have never worried about anything. When in doubt just add a little Prime and your done.

![]() From what I understand, Chloramines are removed via activated carbon, so I think you should be ok with a carbon block (or two) in your unit. The membrane and DI do not remove it though.
