Nate's 500 gallon Shark tank
Hey guys,
As some of you may know, I run an aquarium maintenance business in Calgary. About a year and a half ago, my wife and I had just found out that we were expecting our first child. I took it upon myself to finish our basement in our bungalow to give us more room. I started about 3 months into her pregnancy and finished 2 weeks before our daughter was born. I had decided that we needed a home theatre and a rather large fish tank in the plans. We already had a finished bathroom down there, but nothing else. Here are the tank details. Tank -96x36x32 peninsula style tank (viewable from 2 sides Sump - approx 6feet x30 inches Filtration - 36 watt turbotwist UV Hydor 3000 skimmer Eshopps snowcone 200 skimmer (pulls more than the hydor) Eheim heaters Eheim 1262 return pumps Flow - Tunze wavebox 2 x koralia magnums 6 and 8 I think Lighting - Kessil LED my new personal favorites. I have sold about 100 of these in the past couple months and have had nothing but rave reviews!
