| Volcano Shrmp? Does anyone have experience with these Hawaiian Volcano Shrimp? Will they multiply like crazy and become a pest later? I figure they look kinda neat and would add some interest to the tank...

| I highly doubt that you'd have that problem. For anything except aiptasia, you have to specifically try to succeed at reproducing them. Eggs/larvae get eaten long before they have a chance to grow up. The way that I always look at it is if you get something to breed in your tank it's a nice little bonus of free food for the critters. That all said, I have no personal experience with these guys, so take what I just said with a grain of salt.

| Well maybe not so much in them reproducing (although I've read that they are fairly easy to breed), but I guess if I have like 10 of them, the molted shells may be all over the place...

| Believe they are Brackish as well. Not sure if people have kept them in reef tanks yet. I have heard they bread quit well. They are also really small. Smaller then a sexy shrimp. I believe the idea is to bread them for food for Seahorses and other fish to eat. Chris |

| Need species tank. I've added quite a number in a little nano by themselves, but not seeing them as much as I thought I would. I think they hide inside the rock most of the time (very holey rock) .
