Bristle worms

I think I have at least 2 bristle worms in my tank. I have no idea how big they are as they seem to come part way out of the rocks. How bad is this?Should I wait till they are a bit bigger to try to remove? They seem quite fast, do they stay in one place or do they move around?

Bristle worms are safe and good garbage eaters, good to have so don't get rid of them.

Well they sure are ugly!! I read they eat corals......

Cheato is growing very well btw!

I have never seen them eat coral, just don't pick them up, they are prickly and will stick you, but they are safe.

Glad the chaeto is growing, its doing its job.

guaranteed theres more than 2 you just dont see them i prob have hundreds in my tank, can be found during feeding time

I will leave the worms alone....

My sand still looks horrible but now that there's fish in it again, I'm hoping things will start balancing out!

If you do end up touching one and his bristles are stuck to you soak your fingers in vinegar for a few minutes to dissolve the bristles.

BTW Kalk paste works good to kill them

I have tons of bristle worms, and for the most part dont care. I dont like when they get bigger. Im trying to trap one thats about a 1/4 inch around and 7-9 inch long. Big ugly sucker.

I'm just going to pretend I don't know they are there....I read a bit more on them, seem ok.
