Default Bad Idea To Switch Carbon Dose Sources?

The question is like the title suggests... Would it be a bad idea to switch carbon source on my tank? Right now I am using Tailored Aquatics Nitrate Destroyer, is has a vinegarish smell and says its a multi-carbon source so im guessing its a VSV product.
The reason I want to switch is so I can automate my carbon dosing system, just like my cal, alk, and mag, but the Nitrate Destoryer has to be shaken to mix it up so I couldnt use a doser with it. BUT if I switched over to pure vodka when I run out I can automate that...
I also dose prodibio for the bacteria source so there wouldnt be much of a monoculture from a single source

No, it would not be a bad idea to switch carbon sources, just do it gradually. Once you start using vinegar monitor your Alk.
