![]() Hi, don't take this the wrong way or anything, but normal advice is to reverse your purchasing habits. Find out info on things and THEN buy it, after you've determined what it needs. At this point though, a google search for that coral should give you tons of info. As long as you have good lighting, water quality and filtration, it has a reasonable chance of surviving. Oh, it'll sting most anything it touches.

![]() One nice thing about elegance coral is if you have aiptasia in your tank you can kill it with the elegance but if the elegance touches other anemone's etc it may kill them too.
It's a nice looking coral but I'd not keep one, it's a wee bit on the nasty side for me. Doug |

![]() I did some research before but wanted to see more personal experiences with this coral. Seems like it either doesn't live long (die with 6 months) or lives for years (over two years). No in between. Any comment welcomed.

![]() I have had one for about 9 months or so now and it seems to be doing fine. It has mostly been in a 90 gallon with about 960 watts total. Just upgraded to a 135 did well through the move. Better then my octa-bubble

![]() Wow, that's a lot of light contrary to what I have read. Glad it's doing good for you.

![]() I believe it will do well under 175 watt MH or a ton of Compact Fluorescent

![]() They need moderate light, not to intense. And they do not like to be in direct flow. In the wild they are found in grass beds, hence some light is cut out and flow is minimized
