![]() Hi Guys
Here is the big one ![]() Progressive Reef recently bought into Pacific Sun in a big way by reserving a large shipment of the ALL NEW Pacific Sun Galilieo LED fixture ![]() ![]() ![]() This little unit packs a mightly punch and brings it in line with what many have been waiting for. Galileo, is loaded with XP-G LEDs, measuring up at 8.6″ x 5.1″ x 1.9″. This small size makes it ideal for Nanos and smaller tanks with its wide 120 degree optical spread, meaning that where before 2 similar sized units would have been required, now only one would be required. The fixture comes with Cool White 5W, Natural White 5W, Royal Blue 3W, Blue 3W Cree XP-G LED. We believe this unit offers more than the nearest competitor on LED array, construction and functionality. Furthermore with 120 degree optical spread you need fewer units and little or no risk of LED spotting where colours do not blend. This also eliminated hot spots that potentially can cause coral bleaching at high output. The system will come with both standard on off control but also an active port input which makes it possible to connect with a GHL ProfiLux controller, controllable with features such as cloud cover sunrise sunset and storms. The units can be dasiy chained coupling further units together of so required. CanReef exclusive Group BUy through Progressive Reef - Regular price = $649CAD CANREEF Price = $549.00CAD plus local shipping and taxes (hanging kits can be supplied at our cost price) To qualify for this discount they need to get just 10 units sold, so everyone benefits. How to join - email or call Progressive reef and they will take a holding deposit, this deposit is 100% refundable up until April 1st, after which everyone will be contacted to accept the order and the order become binding. Lets make the Pacific Sun Galilieo fixture CanReefs #1 modular LED system ![]() Discounts will also be offered for pack deals including GHL ProfiLux controllers, contact PR for details!! |

![]() Doug - I will check with PS, if sps dominent wall to wall then you would be stretching on one unit, but two would be perfect.
I will get pics of the underside shortly. There are equal numbering of LED type. Last edited by Aqua-Digital; 03-13-2011 at 11:18 PM. |

![]() Ok, so here are some important answers
Galileo fixture - What is the maximum size tank one fixture will cover? Suggested maximum is 18x18x18" after this you need a further fixture. Note - 18" depth is a given advisary for SPS your aquascaping is more a determination of required depth. What is the LED configuration? There are two groups(white channel - with XPG Cool White and Neutral White) - and Blue channel (Royal blue and Blue leds). Are the each LED type independently controllable? Yes Does it come with GHL module built in? Or external accessory? The lamp has an active "input port" ready for connecting to the external GHL module. Does it have Blue tooth? No, there is to little space inside the fixture Picture of the LED panel? We will have this later this week PAR for Galileo? Comes later this week Last edited by Aqua-Digital; 03-13-2011 at 11:23 PM. |
