Replacing Tar Ballast with Electronic Ballast

I plan to replace my standard tar MH ballast with an IceCap electronic MH ballast of the same wattage. Anyone have any suggestions as to what other equipment I might need to make this work - cords, sockets, etc. or will the existing ones work with the switch over ?
