![]() It's a very common problem. Give Paul a call. I have the same issue running a hammer head pump. Paul has made a custom drum for me that works 100%
what he does is bevel out the drum so that water follows out of all ports all the time but not much J |

![]() I had the same thing happening to me once and found that it was caused by some sand that got down into the drum. Took out the drum, rinsed it clean and flushed the body, put the drum back in and that was that. Just my experience but might not be your issue.

![]() thanks guys,
Jason I was thinking that it might have had something to do with the ports opening and closing. Before I give Paul a call I will just open and clean out the drum (the system has no sand but I guess it could be some pvc cuttings that have gone throu the system during the fresh water test. |

![]() Mine started hammering or I guess a better description would be skipping. Where the drum would not turn and the magnet drive would bang when it would turn and the drum wouldn't, after 5 years. I found that the drum was worn and needed replacment. All was good after replacment

Still had the hammering after the removal of all loc line. I continued to trouble shoot . Cleaning & greasing the magnets has not stopped the hammering either I assume that I have to reconsider my plumbing setup this is why I said I will post pics soon, as to give some help to solve my issues. |
