![]() I just picked up a UF20 reactor and 550ml NPx beads from oceanic corals and I slaped a Ehiem 1260 that runs through my chillerson it. At full throttle the beads seem to really be moving. Is this to much flow? should i reduce it? My chiller says minimum 600gph so i didnt want to get to much lower than that.

![]() You need to get the flow in such a way that the top part of the reactor moves aggressively, but the bottom half moves slowly. If the whole works is moving to fast, then the bacteria isn't able to populate on the beads.
I hope this makes sense.
