Not sure that you really need that front grill though. I removed mine after noticing that it just ends up collecting junk that I have to clean. They are so strong there is no way anyone is going to climb into the powerhead. Unless of course you unplug them for feeding, in which case you should really be using them with a controller as all of them have a feed mode which will jerk the propeller to scare out anyone who has climbed in there during the feed pause :-)

BTW forgot to thank Ocean Aquatics for the powerheads. Wendell was really nice and answered all my questions. They are about a hour away and JL aquatics is 3min away from where I work. When I was at JL aquatics last, they were really rude and didnt answer any of my questions so I have decided not to buy to much stuff from them unless I have to. (not to mention sent me to a place to buy some glass and the company had been closed for a year at least)

hmm, no.. but if you take the front grill off that's exactly what mine looks like

Or better yet, take a look at the product photo on its box. That's what it looks like without the grill

O i see, so you are saying the grill part that has the smaller boxes. So make it look like the wavebox thats in the pic? Do the grills come right off?
