![]() Here is a service bulleting that I have been issued by the Canadian Distributor, for those who have contacted me concerning the ES drivers.
“We are aware of a minor issue with the night mode settings. The new EcoSmart controllers contain a component that keeps track of time and allows night mode to turn off and on at preset intervals. Several domestic customers have complained about the night mode being delayed and starting later and later each day. We’ve found that due to the variance on the component which keeps track of time, the night mode has an average drift of around 6 to 10 minutes per day. Please note that this is normal, and can’t be corrected by replacing any hardware components.” Ken |

![]() Uuhhhmmm....OK. I haven't checked to see if mine is doing that but will now. So is Ecotech going to offer a fix or are they just saying, that's normal and deal with it? That's a pretty big drift and not acceptable to me.

![]() Not all are doing it.
Firmware update if yours is doing it. Hardware is fine. I have been in the computer business for too many years, the do bios updates when they find bugs in equipment. Common place, and you will be taken care of. EchoTech has an amazing customer support system from the retailer up. Ken - BWA |

![]() OK, thanks. I'll have to see if mine is doing that and then I guess contact Ecotech or J&L for the fix if so.
