Looking for 2 x 48" KZ fiji purple bulbs - used
I'm just wondering if anybody in Edmonton (or Calgary) as I will there there over the holidays has any Fiji Purple bulbs for me to try (54 watt/48"). Ones that are used and you're going to garbage. I'm looking for 2, I'm just wanting to see what the colour is like before purchasing. Thanks in advance.

I have 3 x 14k halide bulbs (cheap china no namers) in the middle. And right now I have just 4 x 54watt x 48" cheap chine "blue" bulbs. 2 on either side of the halides. I wanted to switch one on either side to fiji purples cause the "blue" bulbs aren't quite actinic, just blue, but they still make the corals fluores..

Very simular to what I'm running right now, AC's 14k MH's, 2 Giesemann actinic +'s and then I added the 2 KZ's. Made a nice difference.

Hey Dez
If you look at the spectrum of these KZ bulbs( I only found one source that showed this spectrum) they look awefully similiar to Grolux lamps. I also found that 75/25 VHO URI bulbs + actinic tend to mimic these KZ bulbs
