Default BIG Green Death Brittle Star

I scooped him out of my sump so that I could take this picture. Big scary looking green death brittle star in the bottom of an IO salt bucket. You can see that the arms are about 12" each. Unfortunately the white balance on my camera was way off so everything looks extra green.

I've had this beasty since 2004. The one that was at our Total Pet was brought in by Levi.

It wasn't heavy but I did use both gloved hands to carefully lift it up. However I'm probably responsible for the missing spines that you see. But they will grow back in no time.
