Default a few questions

sorry to bug you but i have few question,i was given a 120 gallon tank that i am in proccess of setting up .the tank has lots of silicone figureprints on it .whats best to clean them off with .second question is i finaly got a ro unit and want to know if you can use it right out of box to fill tank or let it run for abit before filling tank .last question for now is i would like paint tank back so when to home depo and told i should exch glass first then use tremclad rust paint ?

The instructions that came with my RO/DI system said not to use the first 4 gal of purified water but then it should be fine after that. Some brand new razor blades should do a good job of removing the silicone smudges.
