Deals at LFSs
Have been to all kinds of lfs while gathering stuff for our new 72 gal captive bred seahorse tank. Here are some places that had good deals on things we needed:
- Family Pet Centre, Sh. Park - 72 gal bowfront and stand, about $100 cheaper than in town. - Family Pet Centre, Sh. Park - 200 gal pails of IO at $69.99, bought 3 pails. - PJ's SS - Oceanic 110w 48" high output compact fl. light strip $70 off (includes two tubes 9325K). And some stuff on sale at AI, from their posted K-Days sale notice. Couldn't help myself, the prices are just too good to pass up, personal moral issues still a concern shopping there, though

I had to stop there to Beverly. I don't regularly shop there but couldn't resist. This is the first time I have seen flat worms. They offered to sell me some stuff to get rid of them. I don't have them yet and if I get them from their tanks they should supply the stuff. Better yet they should use it on their tanks and get rid of the problem before they pass it on.

I chose not to buy live rock from them because of the flatworms. Otherwise I have no qualms about shopping there. My business is my business and theirs is theirs.
